I found this old box of artist inks, I figured I'd test them, they just wouldn't stick to the model when diluted with water, medium was needed. After some practice with them I've found they're the best paints I've tried for doing gems. They don't seem ideal for normal layering though. Just wondering if anyone else has used these inks for any cool effects they could share.
Bellow is a comparison - the top gem done with regular paint, the lower gem is done with these inks. I definitely prefer the lower, and was easier to do, any opinions?
