Update from the KS.

We're in the final day!

That's right, thanks to the wonderful support of all our backers, CaptainCon is just three days away from the end of our Kickstarter campaign and, not only are we fully funded, but we're well on our way to unlocking the last of our stretch goals. We've got some great partners on board and this will be an amazing first year.

We're pleased to announce that Muse on Minis has come on board as a backer and vendor at the convention, joining the company of our other great sponsors: Games & Gears, The WarStore, Pandemonium Books and Games, The Whiz, Citadel Airsoft and Gaming, Game King Fall River, and RivetZone Enterprises.

We're also very excited to share that we've secured an extensive board game lending library to supplement the collection the convention already has for your gaming enjoyment. We also encourage you to bring your own games to enjoy on our tables. In fact, we're to the point where we're having conversations with the hotel along the lines of "we think we might want some more rooms...."

Speaking of the hotel, if you haven't booked your room already, please don't forget to do so. We've secured a discounted convention room rate of $109/night with the Holiday Inn, Taunton, MA. You can call them directly at 508-823-0430 or 1-800-Holiday and reference CaptainCon for the discount or visit www.holidayinn.com to reserve online using group code CAP.

We'll be updating the event calendar with more organized play events as we get them locked down with organizers (working on Netrunner and Bushido events right now) so don't forget to stop by our main web site to check it out. We'll be sending around backer surveys in the coming weeks that will include instructions on how you can register for specific tournaments and confirming any spots you've already got through various backer levels.

Thank you all again for your support. Keep spreading the word to help make CaptainCon a great event.

We look forward to seeing you at the game tables in July,

- The CaptainCon Crew
