So here'd my tyrannofex! I'm pleased with the result but I'd like to hear what you think of it!
This is my 5th unit i've finished, and the most massive one to date!

very nice! now, if you were to just add more highlights and/or shades to the rupture cannon, hooves, scything talons, and all the small spikes, it would would twice as good. they seem flat; at least in the pictures.

you spent all that hard work on everything else. it'll pay off doing the same for the less significant parts!

Thanks! The spikes on his back do pop a lot more IRL, but youre right for all the rest. If I put the total, might as well make sure I do it 100%!

Haha yep! He took me around a week, investing anywhere from 4 hours to 8 hours per day. Theres easily 35-40 hours worth of work on this little fella!

But I use the citadel brush range, if thats of any help. i guess patience and thoroughness is the real key here!

You ignored some details, like the spikes along the back should be distinct from the chitin they're coming out of, and the vents along the gun aren't painted separately either. Aside from that it looks good.

Mhmm, the vents were simply darkened with some black wash, but for the spikes, I make every weapon/spikes that pink/purple color. Its kinda my "go-to" for my nids weapons..
