So, I finally got round to airbrushing my Panther G, but due to either the paint consistency or lack or pressure I get speckled edges to my camo. Does anyone know how I can fix this on the tank without a respray? I kinda ran out of Middlestone.

Strip, apply elbow grease, wash with soap, and reapply paint when dried again.

Or, shrug and spray overit, and just find some netting to cover up the parts that are too thick.

Great, that'll have to wait a couple of weeks till I get paid then. Got nothing to strip with, and no more middlestone to apply the dunkelgelb basecoat -_-

got any info on your tools? They may or may not be the reason for your problem. Your paint mix may also be part of the problem.

Looks like the spatter is from paint being too thick or your pressure is not being regulated. As for that bleeding on top of the hull by the turret, I believe that was caused by a combination of paint being too thin and/or your airbrush being too close to the model and remained idle for a moment too long. I think you can fix it all by carefully spraying some dunkelgelb/middlestone where you made your mistakes.

As you've both said, my paint was too thick or my air pressure wasn't right, unfortunately there's nothing I can do until I get some more middlestone.

I think it looks good the way it is. Camo was often field-applied and unsteady, broken lines work better than sharp contrasting edges.

if the problem was only what was seen in the first image, I'd agree and just say suck it up, it's fine. But the second image shows the paint running because of the air pressure. That needs dealing with.

Looks ace though. I'll be trying to emulate that with a brush for tigerstripe camo...
