So I have been into 40k for about a year now and want to take the plunge into fantasy.

My 7000 pt csm army is about a quarter of the way painted... and now I have been convinced to play fantasy. So I'm planning on having this set up to induce me to paint more. I would say I paint at table top quality, as I've only been into it for a year, and I'm open to advice and how to get better. I am in no way a good photographer, so my iphone is the best quality I have at the moment and a paper towel as my backdrop.

If any people might be wondering, hey what about variety in your armies?... Well I find chaos has the best miniatures IMO and being that most are plastic, I can convert easily.

Well now for minis

First up is the Skullcrushers I just bought. I made the champion my first attempt so here he is

So finals week is upon me so I can't get a lot done right now but I did receive a model that was necessary to paint

Here he is, my new Kharn the betrayer

I'm still working on the base and the poor Ultramarines sod, but Kharn is done

Enjoy

Ok so I went to check this thread, and noticed how crappy the pictures were, the new ones are barely above the last ones, but they are closer so you can see more detail.

So I'll ask the dakka crowd, I have a half painted heldrake, and and unpainted custom helbrute (before new kit)... which would you like to see painted first?

The heldrake is black with an iron triming, my thought process was that it was a former pilot of my Night Lords company and went rouge, and came back a heldrake so he has a name and is integral to my company's fluff.

The helbrute is the DV chassis with the entire MM arm replaced with a lascannon, and in the clutches of his powerfist is a piece of Tau tech (my friend plays Tau so we make slight digs at each other in our models for fun)

Very nice looking minis so far, I vote for the Heldrake next.
