Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone could point me towards either a pre made or tutorial for a forest/jungle base. I'm gonna be looking at 60mm or a 120mm elipse for this. (Not my model obviously)

I've got the Legendary one of this model on order as a surprise for the Mrs' 30th in August. (17cm tall) so naturally I want to go with a forest base/theme for this. The one in the pics looks fab but a lot of the additional stuff was greenstuffed onto it and my greenstuff skills are next to nil. I kinda wanted to go with somethin akin to the micro art studio 60mm forest base and add some static grass or possibly silk leaves to it (The artifical aquarium kind)

So if anybody's got any ideas please forward em my way.

Oops, read too late that you already know the Micro Art ones.

For grass, several companies incl GW offer grass bushels, easiest way to upgreade the Micro Art bases.

Thought I'd post an update to this project.

I started off today with a piece of wood found in the local park which i trimmed and cut to size, I also took some of the bark off.

I saved the cuttings and bark and used them and some smaller stones to fill the gaps. I left some of the base bare to add flock and leaves later.

I then added some fungus with milliput, some vines and some patches of moss.

I've also made some mushrooms out of mulliput, they're far from detailed but I they're not the focus so it'll be fine. I think they look natural enough.

Finally I added some flocking. In this case I used tea leaves. I plan to crush up a bay leaf or two after the paintjob is finished.
