Hey guys

This is my first time posting any pics on here. Recently iv been working on some Tyranid side project stuff. But it has started to take over haha.

It took a long while to get it to me being happy with it, Im one of those guys that is never happy with my painting, but i have found a scheme i like with these.

Very nice scheme, but the Swarmlord's flesh could use a bit of shading, particularly around the torso although that might be the photography.

Yo thanks for the comment, yea i think it might be the pics to be honest, there is alot more shading in the recessed areas, ribcage area etc.

I really like this model! I love the scheme you chose, it makes the model pop but the whitish torso area really needs to be given a dark washa dn then be highlighted. Other then then that the only thing I can think of is the bonesword looks kind of flat

outta hit his skin with some good ol' liquid skill, otherwise known as agrax earthshade. It will tone the white-ish look down a bit if you just slop it on, but if you aim at the grooves and/or wipe off whatever pools outside of the grooves it'll add a lot of shadow to the skin.

Not sure i like the purple blades though, kinda look outta place. Carapace looks great though.

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.
