I'm in the process of modeling three storm talons and have come to a point where I am not sure of the model design.

1. It seems there is quite a lot of detail inside the engine. This detail will be covered up once placed inside. It seems like there is a lot of unnecessary detail that GW scrapped the ideas for something else or I am missing something.

2. There is an exhaust port that is shown that can be modeled as open, however looking at the model together, I cant fund a way to model it as open, since it just falls through the slot in the engine bay.

Am I missing something?

The engines could be used uncovered or for conversion work too. Some people prefer to assemble everything and no have to worry if all the detail gets paint. It's up to the person assembling and painting to paint that or not. It's always good to have options.
