Has anyone got any idea how I can possibly get similar colours to that of British uniform from ww1/2 using the following colours?
Mournfang Brown
XV-98
Chocolate Brown - VMC
German cam med brown - VMC
Brown Violet - VMC
Light Brown - VMC
Any input whatsoever would be great, and I will be mixing these colours to attempt to create something along the lines of VMC - British Uniform. Automatically Appended Next Post: Fatigue colour found, now just to find a suitable colour for the armour that wont blend in with no mans land!

If you are doing a large number of troops that colour would it not be better just to buy the Vallejo British infantry colour?

Fair enough, it would probably work out cheaper in the long run though as you could use small amounts at a time without mixing. Totally understand the money problem though. Personally I would probably hold out until I could afford the right colour if I was doing a whole army of the guys instead of repeatedly trying to get a consistent colour for a large bunch of models.

I just wanted to do a test on a scion and see if the muted drab ww1/2 uniform colours would fit with the model.

Ohh in that case mixing to test it out it's a great idea. Have you considered a dark grey or blue for the armour? Or a dark green maybe?

Green just looked like a darker version of the cadian colours, I'm thinking either dark brown or grey.

Along with the Paint Range Compatibility Chart. Don't miss the link to the Vallejo chart on the bottom of the page below the references.

Got a better photo now that will actually work. It looks like standard cadians colours with darker fatigues, but I could be wrong.
