I think I like this color scheme better than the last one. It was also difficult, and the model is not perfect but eh, its more of trial an error until I am perfectly satisfied with the results. What do you guys think?

I like it, crisp and neat. The black shading is effective as the white armour looks clean but the black just gives it a hint of griminess that fits with both someone who's been fighting for a while and roasting heretics with a heavy flamer and got some soot on them!

I find white can often be a hard colour to compliment but the inky black and ruby red tones with some tasteful use of gold and some nice dark silvers really work well. A very competent paintjob in all.

Much better, I saw the first set of pictures and tbh, it looked unfinished, but this is a triumph!

Thanks for the compliments guys! I followed the order of the sacred rose scheme pretty closely. I also like the order of the bloody rose... creepy name for some angry chicks but they look awesome hahahaha

I need a you to do a tutorial on this, like yesterday. How did you get your white so crisp?

I started by base coating the model grey(Vallejo neutral grey) and making preshading with black (black liquitex acrylic ink). Then I airbrushed the base color (skull white from GW). After the base color dried I started on the black details. I used chaos black/imperial primer. Then I airbrushed the flamer and fuel bottles with the same basecoat and preshading followed by mephiston red. The final highlight was made with blood red. I used bolt gun metal for the silver parts highlighted with dry brushed necron compound. I used Vallejo bronze followed by burnished gold on the gold parts the red lining of the cloak was base coated with Vallejo neutral grey again and painted with mephiston red highlighted up to blood red. I used generous amounts of gloss varnish and then washed it with black oil wash. I don't think I missed anything

hahaha you might be able to achieve a nice white finish without an airbrush. Does GW make white spray?
