I tried to spray some 40k miniatures with skull white spray- out side and I shook the can for 2 minutes. The paint has dried but it has dried very bubbly. Can someone tell my why this had happened, if it is reversible/fixable and what to do next time ? Many thanks!

When you say bubbly are talking about it being really grainy or like there are bubbles in the paint?
Posting a picture of it would help as well.

It was probably high humidity.
You may have to strip them. I use purple power degreaser from the autodept at Walmart. Soak overnight. Paint will come off easy with an old toothbrush.

Bubbly paint is usually caused by spraying to thick a coat(perhaps too close to the model) or and rubbish weather conditions. What was the outside temp when you sprayed ?
Also could be a duff can of spray ?
Only way to rescue it is to clean it off gently.
I`m no expert but that's my 2pence worth, hope it helps.

Toss out the can and get "Rustoleum" primer!! I have tried 3 alternate brands of primer to Citadel and Rustoleum is great. It doesn't drip, it gives an even coating and light without and granules. Perfect!

How long were your spray motions..from side to side ?
Short bursts can cause grainy texture sometimes

ah, in fact they were short bursts because I didn't want to overload the paint

START spraying before the model, pass over it and finish spraying AFTER the model.
Short bursts are fine as long as you use THAT procedure.
That's the way I was taught to get an even coat. Works with rattlecans or airbrushing.
