1850pts Tactical Escalation Eldar vs Tyranids

Honestly, I would have picked your wife's Eldar to win this game. What you need when playing Maelstrom is mobile scoring. That's her main advantage over you, even though she probably won't do much to the bio-titan.

BTW, you missed your opportunity to flame her farseer and jetbikes with your big-ass template weapon thingy.

Hey buddy, met your lovely wife at the Bunker Saturday. We need to get a game in sometime soon.

I would be inclined to agree, so it might come down to having to table her.

The Hellstorm is only 16.5 inches, I actually wasnt able to have her in range (If you mean I should have given him Onslaught to run forward, yes, you are right ...also in Eldar turn 2 we did a gakky job of pointing out she got Invisibility off on the Jetbikes, so I couldnt hit her with a template. That comes in to play later.

Yea she said she ran in to you, I was asleep recovering from a night shift so she was awesome and got the new rule book for us.

Are you playing up at DZ any? We're moving literally 2 miles south of it so it's pretty much the new gaming spot for us.

So when are we going to see Part 2?

Any chance for a color list on the bone she used for the jet bikes? It looks pretty rich.

In the move to the new place I guess I damaged our SD card, the remaining chunk of that game (and a lot of family photos I hadnt transferred yet : / ) Got whiped. However, heres how it went down:

Hierophant ate everything but the Fireprism and Jetbikes with most of the Tyranids still alive. She drew scoring cards for both of the objectives on the tyranid side, getting easy points (once again).

It came down to using Hierophant to table her on turn 5. I successfully cast onslaught on the Hierophant with my Flyrant barely in range. Hierophant ran towards the jetbikes (Now cowering in the far corner)
It fired at the Fireprism and finished it off, then with the remaining torrent (I denyed Invisibility) and Biocannon fired on the Jetbikes, killing all of them...but two. She then rolled a 2 to end the game.

It was a bummer not getting to use the rest of the film because it was an interesting last 2 turns. Tactical Objectives are FUN and good DRILL practice, each turn gives you something new to try that you might run
in to during a real game, but its definitely not balanced or fair.
