Hey there, folks! I've been a long time lurker and have enjoyed the modelling tips and wip's, so I figured I'd join and get some advice. I'm building and converting an exodite Eldar army, and am looking for a good line of dinosaurs to use as base models to represent a jetbike or jump infantry model. Particularly, a pterodactyl (I'm thinking of running an Autarch kitted out with the Mantle of the Laughing God. I'm pretty excited by the idea of him riding around on a giant eagle) and velociraptor of some kind. I've seen people use cold ones before, but I'm not excited by the prospect of doing someone that's already been done to death.

This is the Avatar I sculpted for my army. He's intended to be an awakened elemental world spirit, which seems much more fluffy than a shard of Khaine's essence.

This is the first wraithknight for my army, inspired by the old Bright Stallion Eldar Knight.

I am working on an Exodite army (pictures are in my gallery) and currently have some "jet bikes" on my work bench. I used the Lizardmen Terradon Riders mount for the jet bike and I plan to make a rider using Dark Eldar Helion legs with Wood Elves Glade Rider torsos.

I plan on incorporating the chain/ball element on the Terradon to mount the jet bike weaponry, but that could also be clipped off and the weapons mounted elsewhere. So far I only have two Terradon's finished and they are without riders, but I'd be happy to post pictures if that would be helpful.

Your Avatar and Wraithknight look great! Do you have a color scheme in mind for this army?

Thank you! Your conversions and pain jobs are fantastic. Personally, painting the models is my least favorite part, but my brother insists I use some garrish 80's color scheme. My Bright Stallion already has leg warmers, so why not?

I could definitely use those terradons; I'll have to see what prices I can get them for. Thanks for the tip

He's holding that sword very awkwardly on that cover I've always thought. Nice work on the sculpts though.

I've always like how the old hands have always been as thick as the characters faces, there is an old high elf picture in their Codex who's hand is actually bigger than his head too.

Letting my old Blog die till I got more pictures sorted, it will be back up next weekend.

But feel free to check out my pictures at:
