Been out of the game for a long time, so got a ton of models and I'm working my way through them.
Got the Wife painting with me too (she's better than me...damn novice as well, puts me to shame)

Check em out and feel free to comment and put the boot in if there's dodgy paint work.

I like the dust and dirt on the legs and base. Make it look like they are actually on the field, rather then just stuck on a base.

I had a had time with this guy, four more to go. They are over detailed, by which I mean there is a lot of different items on the models to paint, it's not a bad thing though.
I was happy how the shoulder armour came out, I wanted it to look like bruised flesh.

That Chosen marine is straight out of a John Blanche painting, the simple but sharp colours and the blurred lines between man, machine and demon really bring out the character in the model.

Are you manipulating those photos, or is that just the changes in lighting? Which is, I guess, still manipulating the photos, but in an old fashioned sense, rather then photoshoping.

Nice looking terminators though.

Colour filter one the one, and the bright red one has had its contrast ramped up. The others are different flash attachments. Flash gun and a ring flash.

Here's a new one, Just finished my first Death Guard.

This photo is not edited just lit to suit the mood.
