Today was the opening of an incredible space to play 40K.

It is NuBrand Gaming at 192 31st Street, beween 4th and 5th Avenue, Brooklyn.

It has 2 bathrooms, over 10 tables (a huge rarity in NYC), some expertly pre-built, free form terrain for blank boards, scratch building accesories, airbrushes, a small snack bar, 2 bathrooms, a lack of parking meter fees in the nearby neighborhood (unlike those Midtown guys) and, most importantly an atmosphere that, to me, seemed largely salt-free.

It is the best game-space I have ever seen with my own 2 eyes and eclipses a lot of magazine photos I've seen. It's roomy enough to walk, stack boxes on the floor, fully carpeted and, has a lot of the wood-Captain's-quarters style furnishing.
