Subject: which base again! but with painted options and pictures.

So after the last poll I've refined my options and painted a few examples up.
Not sure which is the best scheme so I thought I would put it too the internet again.
This is for a Cadian army in standard colours, I imagined them in a trench type setting so 2 bases reflect that. The third is a wild card.
1.Stirland Mud, agrax earthshade, zandri dust
2. Backfire earth, agrax earthshade, zandri dust
3. Astrogranite, athonian camoshade, longbeard grey
Thank you, my next question maybe to stick with tufts or go classic with scorched grass flock.

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that. |

Tufts are the GW ones, I"ve always used the army painter ones in the past but the GW are simply far better.
The 2nd one does pop more, I'm just unsure if the model will stand out as well on it. No1 looks muddier in reality.

Maybe it depends if the Colour scheme for your Cadian is more brownish or more grayish? I would go for the contrasting colour.
