Seriously how many people were perched up on their nests eagle eyeing this KS!

I've seen this type of growth for video games like dreamfall!

I'll be watching this, and likely piggybacking on a friends' pledge this time.

I find it a little annoying that the free extra survivor is for the pledge level that includes the base game and not the one that is the sweet spot for this KS.

Is he? That's cool then, I totally misread it. Disregard inapplicable bitching above. Lol.

Derick, Season 2 Survivor

Notice that Derick has the new Gask Mask Card, which will be insanely useful when dealing with the new toxic Zombies.

Raoul, Season 2 Survivor

Raoul is sporting the New Claw Hammer

Goold Ole Crazy Ned was spotted sporting the New Riot Shiled

Tough, plus you can discard it to prevent a wound.

Even better than getting a tray of old zombie sculpts with Season 2. This may be one of the 2 missing box sets then as well - a second walk of the dead set.

Stretch Goals are up

Basically, Prison Break is going to come with all new sculpts for regular Walkers, Runners, Fatties, and Abomination.

It's not huge, but considering I originally bought Zombicide on the strength of the miniatures alone, I'm pretty pumped about having all new sculpts

Just noticed that's she's dual wielding knives, which are not currently a weapon in the game.

The fact that she's using a reverse pommel grip implies she knows what she's doing with them

I missed the first KS. Not missing the second! Already pledged for the $150 level. Come on goodies!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Ditto here. If I could have figured out a way to pledge the $2000 before everyone else and without my wife finding out I'd be on my way to being a tiny plastic survivor/zombie as well. Probably best for my wallet and marriage that I didn't.

Next stretch goals - Thaissa Human and Zombivor and new Orange dice

The stretch goals look awesome, and I am all for more variety of zombies.

Will get a lot of use out of Thaissa and the special dice. I have a bioshock themed force in the works for 40k, and the zombie Thaissa will be excellent as a spider splicer.

I have to say, looking forward to the dice. Black/Orange is a favourite combo of mine.

I think this is the wrong way to go about releasing your product. I understand the first go around. This however, seems to be a grab for more money out of people. Just wait they will start to offer you more stuff for more money. I feel that this is abusing the KS system. Its suppose to give start ups the funding they need to get there game out. I just see that as a money grab. IMO

Good God, this is climbing fast. Will we hit a million today guys? Past the 1/4 mark in only a couple hrs.

It's going to be massive

CMON (for all their comms issues) have delivered most of 2 big KS projects

CMON projects do pile in decent free (and paid stuff)

Zombicide IS a good, fun boardgame

Guilloteen have been great at putting out extra material

Xmas CC bills are (hopefully) now a distant memory

Those that missed KS1 can pick up the first game here so completists will be (almost) happy

The only potential fly in the ointment will be the comments if they end up going the way rivit wars did... And new backers will certainly feel the slow down when it happens and start panicing

Early bird fugitive. Excited for more goodies. Glad to see it is running similar to the last, not sure I can manage another $400 sedition wars or relic knight pledge.

While there were the BBG anger, didnt most of the flame war start because someone was making WW2/Nazi jokes? I could be wrong

Edit

The comments section of rivit wars was a train wreck,
loads of screaming for free stuff/value & complaints about 'having' to pay for add ons,
panic that the KS was stalled/doomed,
nasty personal arguments (that appeared to get folk banned & comments deleted by KS0
lots of pointless arguing back and forth about trivial stuff,
plenty of know it alls
and a reluctance to help newbies (it's all very well that they're asking a question that's been asked 100s of times, but as you can't search KS comments most KS commenters are normally happy to repost stock answers, here very few were, or they were lost in the arguments)

I think it eventually got a bit better after some of the worst offenders vanished (we suspect KS banned them)

Edit: Kenshin has it right (i obviously blanked it out) some idiot made a fair few tasteless/antisemetic comments (intentional or not they led to RAGE)... he and these comments are some of the vanished

I normally have fun in the KS comments, and enjoy following them. Not there.

In 4 1/2 Hours, 1,921 backers pledged a total of $328,457 and there are still 29 days to go.

If this pace keeps up we will be swimming in goodies...

The first Kickstarter had 5,258 backers. If we match that this time around we should clear a million !!

As entitled to your opinion as you are, you sure can't back this opinion up with fact. Look at the numbers they have already generated and it seems clear it was the correct way for them to go about releasing this. Noone who pledges has a gun to their head forcing them to, it is all voluntary, and obviously there are a LOT of folks happy enough with the perceived value fo their pledges that they are buying into the kickstarter.

The original kickstarter raised $781,597. Will it take them one or two days now to surpass that?

Edit. ... aaand 350.000 $ reached within minutes.
