I did a riptide from mostly gundam pieces and several tau bits .. Its pretty much same size as an actual riptide.

Im going to do a renegade slightly evil farsight enclave .. to ally with my red corsairs .. seems like a fit since both factions are mercaneries to an extent

This one struck me as having a good "Tau-esque" look.

Wow! There's alot of tau'ish design elements, not the least of which are the platter'ish head and the antennae.

Don't forget when you are converting these things that the tau only have 4 fingers and would not make a 5 fingered robot. You will need to greenstuff some of the fingers together or cut them off.

Well, the nice thing about the Frame Arms kits is that they're fully modular. Why bother putting hands on at all when you can stick some guns in there? The Revenant Eye and the Kobold both in fact come with proper weapon arms.

I must be one hell of a nerd because I can recognize most of the Wing bits used on that Riptide. I have to say though, it does look really good. Actually, it looks better than the official one. Does it retain the articulation from the Gundam kits?

Dang it, now you've given me the idea to have my Shas'O pilot the Talgeese, and my Crisis Suits being Leos. Thanks a lot

Nice idea, 1/144 scale is right on. I made a change to mine wanting a different look!
I used a RMS 108 Marasai (unicorn ver)
I have a shield and jet pack inbound to finish him off! I really like Samuri type head from this 1/144 scale gundam
