The Aos scenery set is actually a particularly good deal by GW standards. You get the gate and the two broken end pieces for free. Still expensive of course.

So the 40k terrain set is a best you guys are saying?

There's no where else to get those end pieces for the Khorntress.

That's annoying.

I saw the end pieces in the latest White Dwarf and wondered if they were new, that really is annoying. Maybe they will be released later? Though I guess that may be dependent upon how sales have gone.

Yeah, my Chaos buddy is not a happy man. Those end pieces are actually kinda nice to have for the set. I may help him out and take Khorntress pieces he doesn't need after it :X

If you specifically want to build the pictured structure, that's probably the cheapest way to do it. But the price for 16 Cities of death sprues (15, if you don't count the ground Aquila) is not optimal, and if you spent a little more, you could build relics AND have a whole bunch of other really useful city building sprues (to build other buildings).

The only other reason to get it IMO is that you get 3+ eagle pieces from Shrine, and being web-only, may be more expensive or harder to get in terms of discounts.

Yeah, the Relicos is a bizarre kit.

The pre-order pics make it a bit better as it is clear you get 4 Eagle Head/Door Pieces, but you only get 2 Full Aquila Walls and 6 Broken Ones. Then half an honored imperium (without the best piece!), and then some unclear assortment of Basilica, Sanctum and Floors.

Not horrible at a discount if you really want the Eagle Pieces, but like you say Talys, not a great dollar per sprue value.

The Khornetress end pieces have to come out individually in the future surely? And yes I know the logical responses to that question!

The only way for some of these bundles to even remotely make sense is if there are duplicate of some of the items that aren't mentioned...

That or Black Friday doesn't means what I thought it means and is actually synonymous with "Day of Suffering and Despair" for customer's wallet.

Just got the newsletter, it only lists the date 27/11/2015 with the picture of a Space Wolf. No other information...

Yep the bundles as they appear are actually more expensive than buying stuff separately. So there must be either multiples of some boxes or extra free stuff like a Codex or similar.

My local manager got confirmation that there is indeed multiples of kits, we wont know exactly how many of each until they go on sale.

The Forge World deal is a good one if you only want one GBP75 model anyways, like a tank or whatever. You end up paying the shipping, but then the NEXT super expensive little robot dude will be free of shipping

I may end up going for it just to get the Leviathan dreadnought :X

Of the bundles for my army, the Space Marines Veterans and Death Company Assault, neither anything I need or want right now. I don't need that much DC.

First post of this very thread has photos of some of the bundles. The Eldar one contains 3 boxes of Wraithguard.

So yeah. There's definitely duplicates.

As cool as it is seeing GW throwing together some discounted bundles I'm a bit disappointed in the price points.

Setting the boxes in the £100 range would make sense for some impulse purchases from folk like me who find it hard to resist starting new armies sometimes but the £200-400 price tags definitely make you think twice! No thanks!

Online Bundles by GW, It tells you the price and a Name but not whats in it.

There was a one-click bundle on the website during the End Times called the Savage Waaagh that had 40 Night Goblins, the spider, River Trolls, 20 Savage Orcs and the Savage Orc Warboss. If that's the same content in this that's a 20% discount, which seems likely.
