Very nice, makes me want to collect tyranid. May I suggest, I think the armour would look better with gloss varnish on it (but that's because I really like aliens)

Some have it and some dont. I am really on the fence about it so I am leaving them at the gloss stage and seeing how a few more pan out.

Yes. The escalation league is 250 pts a month and I find myself with a busy schedule most weeks so I opted for a simple yet striking scheme which uses a lot of dry brushing.
