My biggest problem with these minis is the angle you took a picture of them from. They're so back-lit it's hard to really see much of the detail on them.

Go outside and take a picture of them in some shady place (or wait for a cloud to pass overhead) and we'll be able to give much better advice.

Deathwatch. You forgot Deathwatch.

Edit: Models look pretty good from what I can see, kudos! Just take a picture with them lit from the front a little more so we can see more details please.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Well what are you looking for specifically? Advice on how to paint better? Basing?

Your lines look clean, as do your highlights and shading. Your basing is also very well done as well. Overall you should be proud of the squad, and an entire 10 man or larger unit of these guys painted to this standard would look fantastic.

Thanks or sharing, take it easy.

Some closer up shots of the individual models would lend to seeing detail better and allow more detailed critique. Also, be sure to light the model properly so you can see the details clearly (You've done a pretty good job of this in the picture in your opening post).

The best way I've found to light a model is to set up some black paper (Construction paper works well) inside of a box with no top, and one side removed, then set it in direct sunlight. Other options include getting several directional lamps and pointing them all at the miniature from different sides (Front, side, top, etc) so that you get good lighting from all angles for the pictures. If you do this correctly, you won't need a flash for the pictures.

Best of luck and I hope to see more of your work in the future.
