Funny I was just thinking this is more of a News and Rumor thread.
Great looking stuff Frontier, I'm moving the thread (agian) to get it maximum exposure.

Nice Stuff. Any chance you guys will be selling that bridges set by itself and not just bundled with the shipping containers? I have all the shipping containers I could ever need but those are nice bridges and i'd probably be in for a couple of sets if they were sold by themselves.

Sure, we even can adjust them to your container dimensions, just contact us in any way convenient for you and we will work something out.

I'll have to check this out at home - your site doesn't seem to work at my office. It's just a link to your Facebook page, which has a link to the site, which links to Fb!

While it is a good idea, it looks really ugly. I realize that those are just two circular laser cuts in wood but is there any way to make the edges actually resemble the GW bases with a bevel?

Yeah, there is a way, but it is very time consuming, that would make them ridiculously expensive , and the idea was to offer a simple to use and cheap solution.

You can do it manually, it goes pretty quick once you get the pattern down. I've used them on MDF terrain to not give them complete square endges. Fill in your spaces with green/stuff putty to cover your gaps. Add the bevel with a sander (fairly inexpensive these days), then add flocking to the extra part to blend in your current base, without having to remove and redo the whole base.

Using Object Source Lighting

Yep, looks like a cheap/fast option... as Severance said, you can just bevel it by hand quickly, if you set up a fixed angle, it would probably be pretty quick per base (though that's still a lot of time, for bigger armies)

It does go quickly but yes it would be a lot of time for bigger armies. But the time is faster than a complete removal and rebasing... that is assuming you flock, decorate your base and it isn't simply just a black base. If it is just a black bare base, then its better to buy new bases and rebase them if you are interested. The ring option is really only useful to those that spent time flocking and decorating their bases.

It's also great for keeping your mini's on the old 25mm bases and widening them when TO's require it.

Sorry to hear that, we do try to offer the best price we can. It does include free world wide shipping though, and the more you get, the cheaper they come.

50 for 22 and 100 for 35 seemed like real good prices to me. That's cheaper then getting new bases cut from litko in 32 mm! Slightly cheaper and cheaper shipping.
Also a lot cheaper then what ever gw is going to sell their's at.

The straight edges and ugly extensions won't matter that much once you have the basing material down on it.

I think a beveled edge would look a lot better - I'm sure we'll see some offered in resin fairly soon if a lot of marine models get moved to 32mm bases.
