Iyanden or Alaitoc?

I tried a few test models for my Eldar army that I've been putting off painting for about two months now.

I've been flopping back and forth on which scheme I was going to do and decide I'd try both and see which one I and other people prefer.

I changed a few things from the usual scheme (added the silvers) and the Iyanden model had small part break off the back (can see it in the pics, please disregard for the purpose of the poll).

So which do you guys prefer? Any suggestions on things I can improve? Thanks Guys!

I voted for Blue w/ yellow helmet.

I thought that both models looked great but when I imagined them as an army I realized I don't like the blue gun on the yellow figure. I think the yellow guy would have too much blue when with his pals, but the blue guy has that 3rd colour, the white, that helps break up the two dominant colours.

I say go with the blue guy, but if you wanted to do yellow anyways I would say change the colour of the weapon.

I see what your saying about the blue guns. I could try doing a black or extremely dark blue (almost black but not 100%). Maybe a 2/3:1 black to dark blue.

I can't exactly name why,but your Alaitoc Guardian has much more of the 'cool factor' than the Iyanden Guardian

Luckily, GW designed the Guardian model. My first Eldar army was blue w/ yellow helmets. Due the to very elongated helmet of the old model designs, they were affectionately known as the banana heads.

From your two examples, I prefer (still) the blue with yellow helmet.

They look good otherwise though. I realize now that your paint schemes are meant to represent specific factions, but surely there is room for a little interpretation! Dark blue would look nice, if you go with yellow.

I like the Iyanden when I look at it the whole model looks balanced. With the Alaitoc for me the eyes get drawn to the head to much as it sticks out and takes away from the rest of the model.
