Hello!

I am working on a Tau Crisis suit, currently painting the model, conversion is mostly completed. I wanted to create a cool looking SF unit using old time weapon types and tactics (this would fit in a phalanx). My Crisis suit ended up with a large shield and a spear. I wanted to give it a rough look, as if it has been standing in strong wind, with sand and grit scraping away gouges in the paint on the front side of the unit. I think i succeeded in doing that in some places, like the top of the "breastplate" as seen in Picture 1.

I am, however, not happy with how the weathering came out in other places, such as the arm carrying the spear in Picture 2. I am not sure what i am not happy with here, but it doesnt look right! Can i get some help from you good forum people?

Tau going CC!

Great conversion and I like how you thought the whole thing through, with where the weathering should go etc.

Looking forward to the finished model.
