Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Looks good, are a you going to add some foliage to the rifle hat and cloak?

Did you make a stencil for the camo or just cuff it?

Not quite sure, I'm pretty new vs many here to modeling n painting so I was thinking it needed somthing but its more the how and what I need etc.

Cammo is all done by hand, with paintbrush, and quite a bit of time lol

Have a xeno skull and bed rol off scout marine kit to add to along with a set of scout binoculars to add to base too.
Its ment to look a bit like he dropped his gear off to form a tempery camp while he stalks enemy.

You can look into getting foliage from other modelling companies, hornby can help most of the time for cheaps and you can spray or paint the leaves etc
If you going to do that drop off bit I would definitely go with making like a cover to obscure the view a little. That way you will get your point across and would give very nice detail!
Google British army poncho for what I mean.

Good idea, the model does have a hood moulded onto back of cloak but yes I probbly could add some form of hood, or mesh typle layer to break up the head, or just foliage/ghille type hood if I got brave!

Maybe add some leaves or such over the gear, looks its been slightly hidden from casual view.
Not fully hidden but not fully on show?

Given first time I ever did a full detail base like that, I think I'm onto good start though.

Best description is gear is dropped off, build up somthing to show its been hidden from casuel view. Not stalking the jungle but like anyising the terrain almost before moving off, looking getting bearings etc

Yeah you don't want to cover it all, still need to let people see it say from the front.

You are onto a very good start, just a few little bits to 'bling' it out.

And that's a good shout, I think you will end up with a good set of models. I do like it when people put more ideas and thought into their models apposed to just I will paint it in basic colours and stick it to its base.
