This is one of my all time favourite models, however I don't play fantasy battles so I couldnt really justify buying one........ Then, my better half bought me one as a present. Obviously I was extremely impressed with the gift, but fitting it into my 40k army was still an issue.

Then the obvious hit me, I could use it as a nurgle heldrake. The only issue being the ground based pose of the model. The answer being to pose him "perched" atop a ruined building.

The whole thing is still extremely wip, but I thought I'd see what people thought of the concept. Obviously the base is just a quick and dirty skeleton of what im aiming for, and the paintjob needs more work. The remains of the seat on his back will be covered with an armour plate from the maulerfiend kit, and the legs will be added soon.

Looks good and yes you're not the first one to sub it as a heldrake, Nurgle is perfect fit for it as well.
