So, I've been given a commission job by a guy in my local gaming store, and I'm quite excited about it really. First off, it's my first commission with a pretty wide spectrum, where I can let my imagination go a little bit mental. Secondly, it's my first commission for some pretty large miniatures thats gonna require a ton of conversion, which is absolutely great.

Essentially, this guy wants six Daemon Princes. One for each god is a given, and the other two are to be Iron Warriors and Night Lords related. So, kicking off with my favourite non-god-affiliated legion, Iron Warriors,

The brief on this one is that he shouldn't fly (why, I have no idea, flying DP's are the bomb), and that he should be large and have the man/machine vibe that is traditionally associated with Iron Warriors. Even though they don't have any "loadouts" as such, I asked him a few questions about the prince as I want each piece to be something really special (I already have something SICK in mind for three of the four gods), I found that he wants the prince to have some form of ranged weapon, but other than that I have a free reign. So I got to work, demolishing a Khador 'jack from Warmachine, a Crypt Horror and a Helbrute from the Dark Vengeance kit, added in a ton of milliput, and after a few hours work this is where I'm up to.

The arms are built, it's just a case of the best pose for them. There is a picture with the arms Blu-tacked on in my favourite pose so far attached. He seems to be at rest, stalking, and all in all, lookin' for a cracka to blast, which is sort of what I was going for. Any more opinions would be welcome!

C&C would be great, as I really want to make these minis the best I possibly can, mainly so I can generate more work, and secondly because I want to be extremely proud of each one, like a child or a prize winning marrow.
