All the pictures with the black background were taken indoors and the white background were taken outside. It is also my first try at a river base

Very cool looking paintjob and the river base looks good as well.

One thing: Just paint the base edge a solid black. The white edge and the "Spirit Bark" script really detracts from the model in a "1st grade art project" sort of way.

Then do you have any suggestions as to prove the base problem?

Just paint the edge of the base solid black, as originally stated.
The white looks really weird and sloppy.

Edit: Just checked your gallery and noticed that the white edges are your standard, but the point still stands; very nicely painted models, but the white edges just look terrible, IMHO.

Have to agree with House Griffith..Base needs a little bit more love
I do like the colour scheme you did on the bark and the blueish accents!
Btw the red on the sword represents blood or some funky coloring on it?

I achieved the water look by using a hot glue gun and the red on the blade is blood . The blood for the blood god technical paint works wonders and is epic.

Probably will use the hot glue idea ^^
