I just airbrushed my 2nd vehicle ever (if you discount the dreadnought I did) and so far, I'm pretty satisfied. Which is a new one, but hey, practice finally pays off
The model is in a very basic state, this is intentional. What I'm aiming at here is some feedback to my highlights, and more colours might just aswell distract. Plus in this state it is very easy to reinforce some highlights.

I used a H&B Evolution with Warpstone Glow at 15 PSI and a .2 nozzle. I tried to go with a slow buildup of colour, didn't ALWAYS work out as I hoped. I need to clean the nozzle more often for more consistensy, so that lesson is learned (though I tend to forget learned lessons rather quickly, I fear).

So... did I do it right? Too much? Not enough? Since I like it right now I'm a bit scared of ruining it with my lack of edge highlighting skills... should I edge highlight at all or try a 2nd airbrushed highlight with Moot Green (and a glaze afterwards)? If yes, rough guestimates on where to apply?

Edit: Turns out gloss coat for future oil washing and flash lights don't like it other... D'oh

Current plan is to do a medium highlight (50:50 Warpstone and Moot Green, pure Moot is just too bright imo) only on the top of the vehicle and very most upper areas on the sides, leaving some of the Warpstone Glow towards the edges. I'll refrain from edge highlighting for the time being.

Looks just fine to me. There are a plethora of 'how to' airbrushing articles on youtube, so that is always a good place to start.

I personally use Auto Air Colors airbrush ready paints as well as the Vallejo air range.

Keep practicing is my best advice!

Those How-To's got me to where I am now
I didn't see a truly airbrushed vehicle in person yet, which makes it a bit difficult to tell if I'm doing it correctly (choosing the pattern to spray, that is). Youtube gives you a rough feel, but with different colours come different results and therefore it can't be applied 1:1 from those. And I really don't wanna screw up a vehicle, since these are a pain for me to strip
