Hey there everyone.

I just bought some Eldar Guardians off ebay, still on sprue, with support gun missing, for a cheap enough price.

My intention is to use them as allies for my eventual Dark Eldar force down the line.

When I first started building them their more narrow nature and fiddly bits was annoying me.

I did my best to remove mold lines on these 2 test models, but it wasn't easy. Some were missed.

I started with White over the red overcoat they came with. Then OOP GW Yellow ink that was in a bargain bin in the Art's and Hobby shop.

From there I started toying with a colour wheel. I wasn't too happy with the prospect of doing a flat Iyanden scheme, with my limited skill. And out of that tinkering, and testing some techniques that I'm still learning, this is the result.

(On top of the ink layer went Reikland fleshshade, then my own mixes of Orange, a beige, grey, purples, and some blue)

C&C welcome.
