Good luck dude. Make sure you test fit everything first and if you're planning on painting the interior, you'll need to do it before you put the torso together. Feel free to pm me if you need any advice. The warhound is an amazing model to work on, so above all enjoy the journey.

That is one dangerous chicken.

I hope those pistons aren't glued on yet. The best thing to do with them is fit them, glue them to length and number them; then paint them separately. Otherwise they're a pain in the arse.

Edit: Also, dry fit the leg plates while you set posing - they do limit how far the ankle joint can travel.

I have to say, the warhound is an awesome model to work on. Ireally need to finish mine off. As for the painting. Was it worth the insanity........

Making a start on the Chaos Warhound's scenic base/diorama.

A bit further along with the base.

Starting to build some texture on the base. It kinda looks like soggy wheatabix at the moment but it won't for long.

I've been making a start to a few Ultramarine casualties for the base.

Hellz Yeah. Everyone loves dead smurfs. Lol

Priming/basecoating the Titan's display base. The edges will be highly textured granite effect in marbled and mottled grey with inlaid runic disks. In the mean time I'll be getting the base detail done and attaching all the ultramarine casualties.

A bit further along with the Chaos Warhound display base. I've been getting the base colours done and the glow underpainting started.

Today I made a start on the cockpit interior for the Titan.

Here's some more progress on the cockpit along with some work I've been doing on the armour details. Metallic highlighting next up.

That contemptor is a really expensive casualty. A man dedicated to a good diorama. Can't wait to see the finished results, man. This stuff is looking amazing so far.

That eye is AWESOME! The rest is cool as well, but that eye is AWESOME!

A bit more progress on the Chaos Warhound Titan. Highlighting and detailing the metallics, adding rust to the dents, chips and scratches and starting on the glows.

Trying out a test verdigris mix wash for the brass/bronze areas on the Chaos Warhound Titan.

One day, I hoe to own a titan myself... But I have a LOT of unpainted miniatures that I've converted that I really want to get through as well.

I really like what you've done with the cockpit too. Does anyone know if they're all "attached" to the machine, or are the two in seats still able to get up?

Thanks. I'm really enjoying painting this model. It's really is a fantastic kit and there's so many cool little details to do fun things with.

I like to think the the crew have pretty much been slaved to the possessing daemon spirit of the machine. The gun servitors are brilliant with this model. One is attached with cables, tentacles and all but the other is pretty much a pulsing sack of bio-mechanical nastiness.

So much fun.
