Hello!!
Its been a year since i started painting miniatures, mostly wh40k. I began with the dark vengeance set thinking it would be enough, since no one else i know in person knows about the game. But then more space marines, chaos, tyranids and tau came into my hands, and so, ive been painting almost non stop for a year, as nonstop as a fulltime job allows.
I call this paint scheme Vho'mo sept. I was trying my on paint scheme, and i came up with this, my girlfriend said it looked "gay vintage" cool. And so, i thought that would be it, Gay people are very strong and so my idea is that this guys are very battle hardened, and been doing their tau'va for a lot of time, cut off from the main expansion, no need for new paint jobs or anything, just do your thing.
Anyways, its my first attempt at weathering, and heavy later on, I didnt add any rust because i think tau alloys dont rust lol. So please any advice, comments? I still have another battleforce and like 30 drones to go.
Thanks!

Welcome to dakka! For first time weathering, this is pretty good. I think the next time you weather, you should water down the wash a little more. That way it prevents too much pooling. It's a good start though, and the color scheme is nice.
As another small suggestion, I would try adding a bit of a spot color on the bases. Maybe orange flowers (if you want to keep the nature theme) or some rusted metal. Something that will pop against the green and blue.

Looks interesting!
Seems a little hard to make out as the pictures seem a little blurred.
