The wonderful armies i have seen here for years has prompted me to post in Dakkas P&M showcase forum an open invite to players who wish to participate in the Battle for Salvation Masters Invite. This is a new win track within the BFS GT that awards a top prize to armies that are wonderfully painted and perform in the Tournament.

I hope the Admins will understand the reason why i post this here. I would hope to garner interest in players who might not look in the Tournament forum. The following is an invite letter we have sent out to a number of gamers.

Thank You

Gamer,

Battle for Salvation would like to Invite you to the 2014 Battle for Salvation Grand Tournament Masters Invitational.
The reason why we are reaching out to you is due to your exceptional Skills in painting and modeling of 40K miniatures.
Our intent is to provide a Championship win track at the GT level that celebrates artistic talent and the beauty of ones army over the way it performs on the table top.

The length of time it takes to create a masterful looking models tends to leave creators of these armies lagging in there ability to keep pace
with the ever changing climate of the game.

The reason why you are being invited is due to the recognition you have received either through the winning of past Tournament Painting awards or recommendations by your peers or our staff.

Does pursuing the Masters win track exclude you from other awards at the Tournament ? No.. Winning the Tournament all together or your bracket is still open to you as a player also since you will be placed in the general Grand Tournament.

So how do we score the Masters Invitational ? The BFS is a win/loss Tournament that also tracks Battle points. The first day you will play 3 games and depending on your record will be placed in an appropriate bracket of equal W/L army performance for day 2. Each game battle points are also tallied. Day 2 you will play in your bracket 3 more games and accrue additional Battle points. If you are undefeated in your bracket you also win that bracket. The Masters Track is scored at 75% Paint and 25% Battle Points. This Tournament track is heavily weighted to having a great paint score with table performance being secondary.

So if you are interested in participating in Battle for Salvations 1st Annual Masters Invitational as well as celebrating our 5th year Grand Tournament please sign up at our website http://www.battleforsalvation.com/registration-2/ under the Masters invitational link.

Also Army rules are listed on www.battleforsalvation.com . This is an 1850 point GT and follow the NOVA list building/faq. Coming soon we will have updated missions. Missions will follow the Bay Area open Missions so if you would like to review them here is a link: http://www.frontlinegaming.org/2014/06/18/bao-warhammer-40k-competitive-event-missions/

Any questions please email me at ekmiller1@verizon.net
If you would like to recommend a player who you feel would should be invited please contact me.

Thank You

Sounds like something really cool. Sadly (well not really) I haven't lived in the tri-state area in over 15 years or I would be all about it.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
