Dude you're a damn genius. I am shamelessly stealing with the next DV sprue I order. I've got a Demon Prince that I just don't want to paint and some Carnifex/Gargoyle parts laying around.
I tried to make this guy slightly more interesting, but I'll be damned if the model isn't just flat out boring....though really a great mini to practice painting on.

Yeah i got a 7th ed dv for the book i run daemons mainly but also run chaos marines i could really convert everything into something use full but was about to sell the hellbrute till i decided if anything he could just be chopped up and used as bits. Once i had all arms and legs cleanly off the main body it just clicked i could put two arms on this torso and it would look right oh and i bet that cod piece would fit my spair hive tyrant legs and once i was there the rest just fell together

I dunno, I don't like the look of tyranid bits on non-tyranid items without a bit of work to make them less... tyranidy. It just has the look of slapping bits together without really making the model special. Maybe a good paintjob will bring it all together... I'm all for clever conversions, but it needs more than just gluing Tyranid legs to a Helbrute body.
