Hi There Dakkadakka folks!

Thanks for all the inspiration over the last year which helped me get motivated into painting up a Tau army. This is my first army painting project and even though I'm not a pro I thought it would be fun to share.

Nice stuff. I've done sorta something like this with a few of my tau. Split between this type look for half the models and then my main troops have the classic tau paint scheme.

Can I ask you how you paint these? I was at the time (haven't touched my tau in ages and my skills were lacking then) just spraying black then highlighting edges with moot green. Red eyes etc is that similar to what you did here?

Wow, just WOW! I've never imagined Tau this way before but now that I see it, it's like it should have always been this way. The visual style of Tron is the perfect way to depict the far-future alien technology that the Tau embody. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at Tau the same way again.

Awesome paint scheme! I like the Visual effects of the Movie and it looks stunning on the tau, great idea / concept

onely thing I'm not sure I would have done is the basing in the same but then again if you remove it it would remove alot of the extra feel it give, but again pieces will look a bit off playing on any table and since its an army I guess its ment to be played with, ( mind this last part is just the onely thing I could thought of otherwise they are awesome! )
