Hi, I am ferrus mannus reborn.
This is my project log and tactics discussion.
I am waiting for an excuse (my birthday) to start my army. Luckily it is nearly my birthday so yeh, I have that bit sorted
I have already got some plans, but really need the rule books, I have a few plans including putting ferrus mannus and a terminator squad in a spartan and give them as much stuff as I can. The concept here is basically I have a spartan that takes -1 strength when you shoot at it, when it takes a wound it has a 5+, 6+ And a 3+ chance to get hull points back or be repaired in other ways. When it does die? Ferrus mannus and ten terminators. Also a squad of 10 missile launchers on a nice tower and can hit all of the board.
Please give me some other suggestions as that is all I have come up with so far the enemies of the imperium will burn

I have made a consisting of ferrus mannus a spartan with as many upgrades as possible to make it as survivable as possible
2 5 man cataphracti or gorgon terminator squad
And a preator on a jet bike
I have also got some terrain I need to paint. And a board to show you when I get the chance

I have now decided, when possible to also have a command squad on jetbikes with the preator as that has been recommended
Hopefully I accidentally fall into the warp and come out on the day before my birthday but with my still having been there from everyone else's point of view then get about £400 for my birthday so I can afford it

Sure it will be expensive but hey
And the jetbike squad was not my idea it is just too cool not to be incorporated into my army as a spearhead behind ferrus mannus op tank.
The idea is I have a mass spearhead consisting of tanks and men mostly assault and breacher squads maybe some assault terminators and contemptors they will form a spear.
A shield will be made from several tactical and support squads. Particularly a few 10 man missile launcher armed squads and basically camp in the deployment zone ,making a defence line, and defend against an enemy advance while the spear launches a concentrated assault on the enemy's Line, a bit at a time
I call it the spear and shield formation

Really wish I had not started this blog, might turn into a blog with all my stuff, still want the hands but way to expensive ATM. I have a duel I made of an iron hands vet sgt battling a chaos space marine nurgle thing with wings and I have about 25 hands to paint for battle. Wish I had put the duel on two smaller bases now but too late
