I recently bought a jar of Termanatus stone, but when I opened it up it looked like the picture attached. I've never used a dry before, but it shouldn't look like this, should it?

Yep, thats normal. I can't explain why or what they mix in to give it the goopy texture but its normal. At least thats how mine have looked. Now be careful with it, after I opened mine they were dried solid after about 2-3 months.

It should have a rubbery consistency and come apart in chunks if you use a toothpick. What you have is correct. The idea is that because it's not wet, it won't run at all (though you can gob it on, which will do all sorts of bad).

If you use a very stiff brush (like the citadel small or medium drybrush), you can dab a tiny bit on the end, wipe off excess on a paper towel, and drybrush away.

Make sure your drybrush is totally dry, and you need very little paint on it (more coats of less is better than losing control).

You use so little of this stuff that one jar lasts forever (I've never gone through even one). If you like the colors but want a different consistency, the Citadel Edge paints are exactly the same pigments, but with Layer consistency. I find the blues, greens, orange, yellow and pink Edge very nice for highlighting the highlights.

Thanks! I figured I'd ask because the one dry paint I've used looked a bit more solid, but that was Ryza rust so maybe its different to get the rust effect to work.
