I love it! How do you do it (airbrush, brush, etc.)??? How long does it take you (to get to this point, for example)?

Looks really cool! Nice work.

Just wow. I'll join in the chorus of "how did you do that?"

That kalidoscope thing you've got going on is insane and I love it.

I'm curious about the time spent, as well. Demidov has mentioned painting exclusively by brush when showing off previous work, so I would imagine the answers are "patience" and "a long time."

I MUST KNOW HOW YOU DO THIS

If the answer is "with a brush and a lot of patience" you are officially the coolest person of the universe today.

He's painted a bunch of vehicles in stunning patterns and quality like this (many of them Eldar, check out his post history for more flippin' awesome work!)

He has stated previously he hand paints everything with brushes. I don't know if he's using Vallejo or GW paints or some other brand or if they're acrylic or what. I also don't know if he mixes his own colors (I assume he does, based purely on the variety of colors he uses in his work) but whatever his method is, it's GOT DANG gorgeous beyond compare.

Demidov, thank you for putting your WIP up on here. It's amazing to see a step by step of the work for an artist of your amazing talent and skill displayed for us to follow along. I look forward to seeing the finished product in the near future! Keep up the great work in the mean time.

Take it easy.

Edit: I now have a visual image of what a serpent's shield looks like when it deflects incoming fire from hostiles. That effect is exactly what I will see in my minds eye every time I picture a wave serpent shrugging off heavy firepower in the future. Cheers Demidov!

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

At first I took a brush in hands -Five years ago.
Thanks again - looking forward to continuing)))

^^ That's hand painted?!?

I was thinking how long stuff like this would take with an airbrush, but hand painted? Holy gak on a stick... I'll let Dean Winchester take it from here...

Fantastic!

Much more concise than the titan. It's a wonderful, focused thought. It's what I wish my army looked like!

I demand a video tutorial! I must know how this is done!

Please?

Excellent.

Unfortunately some of your lines aren't straight.

I would've liked the same hex highlighting scheme to extend to the rest of the model too, because the mix with "galaxies" just doesn't look as nice.

A bit like your Titan, it looks like 10 different paint schemes on the same guy - all excellent, but why mix them up ?

Crazy skills, but you should try sticking to one theme per model

HOLY SH** this is just amazing!

Must agree a bit with Morgoth on the too much different themes on the same model. I also think just one theme would be more powerful than multiple different ones. Less is more they say.

And I really must know If you really free hand all the patterns (like the small diamond shaped one)?

And besides some slightly wobbly lines the quality on the free hand is really flabbergasting. And the color tones are really well chosen. Stunning work.

He does free hand, you can see it in how the paint looks.

Stencils would look a lot cleaner for example, with sharper edges.

While I don't disagree about the Titan, I feel that this one is much more unified. I especially like it because it feels like a barrier's response to incoming fire or a digital chameleon response.

I like it.
