Hey all. Finished painting up some Chaos and was looking for some (friendly) constructive criticism.

Personally I feel the red is a bit to bright, or maybe vibrant, does anybody agree?

Anyways thanks for your time and thanks for viewing.

It's a good start. I would suggest hitting the models with a brown wash and then picking out the raised areas in the original colors

Inboud...

They're nicely done.

I think your Red is fine, but I'd recommend hitting the metallic areas with a dark wash then highlighting in original colour.

The Lords fur collar would benefit from a dry brush in a slightly lighter colour as well!

Finally, I'd go for a contrasting eye lens colour- maybe a blue or green to give the face a focus point.

Keep it up, and keep posting!

They'll look a million bucks after a healthy wash of dark brown - burnt Sienna if you're into oils, or whatever GW are calling their acrylic dark brown wash this week

Good stuff, nice and consistent. Like other have said, a wash finished off with a highlight of the raised areas would top them off perfectly.
