I'm always thinking of new ideas to do with different kits, and I'm interested in other people's crazy ideas too. These don't have to be things you'll buy in the immediate future, but things you can reasonably see yourself getting over the next couple of years. I have rather a lengthy list, so I'll let some other people post first. But, to give you an idea...

The plan here is of course to build a great big Khornate cavalry flank. I'll be using some various 40k bits to make the first two items look like 40k, for example Chaos backpacks available from GW, leftover bits from a Chaos Marine box, and perhaps even some parts from FW [ http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Chaos/CHAOS_INFANTRY_AND_ACCESSORIES/WORLD_EATERS_CONVERSION_SET_.html ]. I don't play World Eaters, but there are plenty of Khornate pieces in that kit that don't have World Eaters symbols. FW also sells a huge variety of different boltguns and other weaponry, which I will mix and match between.

In game, I'll play the Warriors as Bikers and the Lord as what he is. But in my own fluff they are on Juggernauts.

Actually, my sentinal customisation kit was just completed.

HWS sprues have tons of stuff
I finally got round to picking up another CCS/PCS
And of course a sentinal.

Currently, my force has a solid base, but does need some additions in fire support and armour (I only have 2 armoured vehicles, a LRC and a Predators (Autocannon/HB)).

1x Sternguard Squad
1x Centurions (Devastator Loadout)
1x Vindicator
2x Razorback (Magnetized for Rhino/Razorback)
1x Drop Pod

I'm thinking about getting a Dark Angels Battleforce, which would allow me to build a fast attack force. A Stormtalon (is a Stormraven better?) would also be a pretty good addition to my forces, to add some anti-air.

I play regular Space Marines, and have ~2.5k points.

Another thing, I'm not sure if I'm going to be going in the correct direction with these additions, and am still thinking about it)

1. Lord of the Rings minis. Whatever I can find really cheap on E-bay. I need huge loads of them for an epic campaign.
2. Special characters for my Empire army. I was looking at some very nice albeit expensive alternate minis.
3. Nagash and the new Nurgle stuff for the End Times.
4. Terrain for Warhammer Fantasy. I was thinking of a nice tavern.
5. Vanguard veterans to go with my jumppack captain.
6. A huge Nurgle army to go with the previously purchased Nurgle monsters. I found some really cheap alternative Chaos Marauders.

By the time I will have bought all of this it will probably be summer holiday and I will have time to assemble and paint all of it.

ive alsready built a captain, company champion and apothecary as well as some sternguard. number 1,2 and 4 will round out the rest of sternguard squad, 10 strong, and the command set will give me a cool standard bearer.

Now with the new IA book out I am really thinking about ordering myself a Christmas gift from FW. I'm not sure what I'll end up with yet, but on my wish list/upcoming purchases list there is the following:

My last project was to make a counts-as LotD squad out of a GK interceptor, vanguard veteran, and tactical squad box. As there were a lot of parts left over, I also put together some librarians (one with a jump pack), another honor guard and a HF deathwatch marine. At some point I’ll also put together another 5 VVs, but that’s a low priority. I’ve got some ideas for a MotF w/ c-beamer on foot, using some of the GK parts as well. Lot of neat toys in the kit.

I’ve got a lot of stuff on sprues to build, so no short tern purchase plans. I think the next thing on my to buy list that’s not just another tank or two to fill out my options is to round out my HQs. For that I’m going to need two more bikes, one for a librarian, one for a MotF. Maybe two MotFs, one with a c-beamer, one without.

I plan on buying two squads of Empire Greatswords, and then converting them into Crusaders for an Inquisition Army. I have some shields I'll give them from an old box of lego bits left over from childhood

My shopping list is not very long, but a bit expensive. I "need" to buy four valkyries for an upcoming list. One of them will be converted to a vendetta and the others will be built as valkyries. I´m guessing it will be something like four months of shopping...

So I was extremely pleased when I (unexpectedly) received 300 euro my old job owned me.

Though there are a few things:
I want more vehicles like: Furioso Librarian, Baal Preds, Vindicator, a Whirlwind, a Razorback and surely the Fire Raptor Gunship.
But the biggest 'need' at the moment would be 10 Death Company.

I recently received 20 Tactical Marines for 20 euro (yaay) and I want to turn 10 of them into Bolter/Jump Pack and at the same time have 10 DC without JP's for in transports.
Another thing I want to do is have two or three models equipped with a Power Lance, because Lances are awesome on DC.

Well, I'm basically looking for the BA stuff.
I have a full jump pack company which I play sometimes in apoc games.

The problem with playing Orks is that you basically want everything, since it all looks hilarious and does crazy stuff, and then you have a massive army but can't write decent army lists...


Saying that, if we were to define it a little better...
1) Badrukk boxed set. Lovely models, and an excuse to buy a bunch of stuff that I might otherwise not bother with
2) Ghazzie supplement. Need it for the detachments, also for potential loltastic fluff
3) High Elf Prince on Star Dragon. Thanks to the new faq, this bad boy can finally be taken alongside the Level4, and can fly around and victimise stuff.
4) High Elf core. I still need to buy a bunch of core models for my full 2400 army.
5) Three boxes of Warbikers. Need to start testing out a full 15-sized unit, right? The problem is just how long they take to paint... X-)
6) Forgeworld Ork bikerboss. For maximum painttrain!

I love the FW Tau commander look and need some marker drones for my Tau to complete them.

The Dk Command and 28mm tank packs are for my Steel Legion. I wanted a unique squad for them and they will work great! The fuel tanks, mgs, and accessories are for two LR and 3 Chimeras. I was going to order the GW tank sprues but they are just too much for so little and the 28mm WW2 stuff will be a unique look for my battle worn Steel Legion.

Guardsmen. Any problem in 40k can be solved by throwing guardsmen at it until it stops moving.

Forgeworld Cataphractii Terminator Squad: Man, these are purdy models. I bought one and now I want more. Maybe about... 15 or so.

My shopping list/wish list(in descending order of desire to have) for the next calendar year is as follows:

1 Box of Sternguards - Build either a second Combi-Melta Squad or a Combi-flamer/HF or Combi-Plasma Squad.
1 Box of Tacticals - 5 Marines will be used to make the second half of the above Sternguard squad. The other half will be combined with the remaining 5 AoBR marines I have and used to make a Grav/Combi Grav or Flamer/Combi-Flamer squad.
2 Drop Pods - One for the above Sternguards. A second for Pedro Kantor and his Honour Guard.
1 Vindicator - Need to shore up my lack of Heavy Support.
1 Chaplian - Of some sort. Probably the one with a Jump Pack. Just to round out my HQs. I would be more apt to buy a plastic one rather than Finecast. Here's hoping one comes out soon.
1 Techmarine - Same deal as the Chaplain. I want a plastic one. That doesn't exist yet. So I will probably either have to wait, or kitbash one together somehow. Servitors are needed as well.
1 Land Raider Crusader/Redeemer - Probably to build as a Redeemer. I have Terminators with no delivery system. Might use as a method of delivering Pedro and HG.
2 boxes of Space Marine bikes or maybe a Ravenwing Battleforce - I am light on fast attack (working on it, got a Storm Talon and two Land Speeders on the way). This would go a long way to change that. I might not even do this up as Crimson Fists, but a homebrew Successor Chapter of the White Scars modeled after the Junkions from Transformers the Movie (Geronimo-Ron-Ronimo!).
1 Bjorn the Fell-Handed - Just to have, really. I have a small force of Space Wolves, so he might see some use.
1 Storm Talon - I have one, kinda want another.
1 Storm Raven - Possible alternate delivery method for the Terminators. Could also make the Stormwing Formation that way. This and the Storm Talon are VERY low on my priorities list.

EDIT: I forgot. Rather than get a second Storm Talon and a Storm Raven, I have thought about getting a Storm Eagle instead. Sure, it is expensive as all get out, but I like the appearance.

WAY down the line is the FW Fire Raptor. That thing is crazy pricey. For now, more drop pods and Dreadnoughts with Assault Cannons and Heavy Flamers. Where is your cover save now, little Tau??

Space Marine Scouts or Militarum Tempestus, I haven't decided and I guess it depends what's cheapest on eBay at the time.
