There are a few mold lines too which you've missed.

The squad looks pretty cool! Mold lines were mentioned...
I really like the yellow and the bases.
And the missle guy... To be honest, i like him.
I like the idea, that in the grimdark future is still some space for some grimdark humor.

Did used oil washes for this minis?

Not a fan of the missile launcher either, but I think the captain looks perfect for a Fists commander.

I personally like the missile launcher guy. Also the painting is very crisp and clean! Yellow is hard to do, yet you seemed to have mastered getting it down nice and even. All I can think of is doing some highlights on the black portions of the armor. Keep it up man!

Thanks guys! yea the "get fisted" was too hard to resist. I'm going to do it bigger and better on my command squad standard bearer. ( look out for that )

What's your yellow recipe? It seems very Lamenters, but also toned down Imperial Fists. If you don some more units, maybe add some Rogue Trader style painting elements, like rank badges, honors and checkers?

those are great looking fists, a really neat balanced job.

i like them.mine look very different. are you airbrushing? yellow is a great shade and very smooth.

If you do a graviton gun, put 'he ain't heavy' on it.

I use army painters daemonic yellow primer after a light white primer coat. Brings it out a little more. The trick to these is being very neat with the ink when shading. You cant get any on the yellow (except for the recesses) or it will force you to touch up and its very difficult to get the exact yellow IMO. I just take my time when inking leaving hardly any touch up. I like the grav-gun idea.

Oh and no I dont air brush. Although in the future I might decide to go that route with a different army. I've seen some airbrushing styles out there that I really like.
