Hey guys. Just thought I'd show off my vindicator I painted up. A lot of time went into this one including conversions, and free hand. Let me know what you think!

Yes! Awesome! Looks like something made by the Salamanders' master artificers.

Into the fires of battle!

Your paints are not thin enough. Needs more wash.

Very cool, and the freehand work is nice.

CC:
1. It looks like you need to thin your paints. Vehicles are why people go to airbrushing to get a consistent coat across large surfaces. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.
2. The side of the vehicle with all the purity seals seems like a little overkill. Totally a taste thing, but just my opinion.
3. This is more of a gripe with the rhino chassis model, but the rear section where the track guards meet the body could've used a little pre-paint work to align edges properly so there aren't seams or seperation. Again, this is common to these types of models, but if you're going to put this much work into the model, might as well go full tilt.

Overall, nice job!

I used an airbrush to lighten most of the tank and then dry brushed over it to get the color I wanted. The side with all the purity seals was kind of an attempt to put some personality into the tank. I wanted to give the effect that this tank was in many battles and was very decorated in battle. The extended barrel just looked cool to me. And also could double as a laser destroyer array.

Also, this was purchased second hand, so I didnt have a chance to assemble it properly.

I think the purity seals are a great touch! The fact that theyre are a bit OTT really gets the effect across and captures the whole "OTT holiness" of the space marines

That barrel... I keep hearing Oddball explaining his Sherman's to Kelly...

About the only issue I have is the purity seals. Not the number of them, but the black-to-parchment color scheme - a bit more subtle would have perhaps been better (say a medium brown instead of black).

Cool free hand on the dozer.

Not sure how I feel about the longer barrel on the demo cannon, doesn't work for me. Also be aware you might get accused of modelling for advantage.

I really like the purity seals.

Overall, very cool. Keep it up.

I measure from the end of the original cannon. No worries.
