Subject: Judges of the Dead: Moving not too slowly.

Daemonic Dreadnought

So, after having 99.9% of my Necron and CSM armies disappearing whilst moving across the USA, I've decided to start anew. This time, I'm only going to focus on CSM (Necrons may come later). Anyway onto the army, themes, etc.
So there'll be 15 HQ's in the army (for fluff reasons, I'll probably never field all 15 outside Apoc - I don't have much love for unbound) and the rest of the army will be based around them.
This'll be a fun/fluffy army.
7 of the HQ's will be based on the 7 Deadly Sins
7 of the HQ's will be based on the 7 Heavenly Virtues
1 will be based on the Greek Judges of the Dead
Now the one based on the Greek Judges of the Dead (thinking Daemon Prince, modeled with 3 heads, Be'lakor's rules). But the rest, I'm having a little trouble with.
The issue I'm having is which Chaos God each Sin and Virtue should go to... and the bigger issue, what HQ (Chaos Lord, Sorceror, Apostle, etc.) best fits each Sin and Virtue and what loadout each of them should have.
So Dakkadakka! This is where I come to you for suggestions and ideas. Any help would be more than welcome.
7 Deadly Sins
GREED: I can see either going Tzeentch or Slaanesh. Greed for power, wealth, or status requires planning with a goal to strive for. Without planning, it's just self indulgence where upon it falls under Slaanesh
ENVY: I could see someone "blessed" by Nurgle falling under envy. Perhaps someone who was caught in a plague whose pleas for help and life were answered by Nurgle but they ended up ungrateful of Nurgle's gifts and they crave to be human once more. After a period of time, said person's longing for humanity turns into a hatred and decides that if he/she can't be human, then humanity should become like them (zombies). An Idea, I'm open to suggestions.
PRIDE: Could see going either the way of Khorne or Slaanesh depending upon the execution. Khorne with Martial Pride, Slaanesh with an excess of Pride becoming vanity.
WRATH: Khorne
SLOTH: Slaanesh
LUST: Slaanesh
GLUTTONY: Slaanesh
7 Heavenly Virtues
CHARITY: I'm inclined to Nurgle here
KINDNESS: Nurgle again in a twisted way
HUMILITY: Undivided, possibly a Dark Apostle?
PATIENCE: Nurgle (Maybe Tzeentch?)
DILIGENCE: This one to me could go either Khorne or Tzeentch once again depending upon the execution
CHASTITY: No idea
ABSTINENCE: Maybe undivided? Abstains from choosing one patron god seeing the benefit of having to support of all?
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Oh yeah, and will be posting the Champions of Sins and Virtues here along with their respective entourage. And of course the Judge of the Dead

Last night I started working on what I thought would be a fitting Lord of Greed. Kitbash of Sanguinary Guard, Warp Talons and TWC. Plus Green stuff.

So a little break from Greed, to finish what sculpting I want to do, I'm going to have to get some milliput (feel more comfortable using it for details) and I'll have to get a new set of paint brushes as well as paint (all went missing as well as they were in the same moving box). So I decided to work on Wrath next.
Used TWC to start, will be sculpting some stuff on to him and his wolf. Possibly some kitbashing later on.
Will be a Chaos Lord with AoBF and a Juggernaut... Maybe burning brand for gaks and giggles.
Anyway, here's a pic.

7 Deadly Sins
GREED: This is a sin of excess, and a desire for physical possessions. An accumulation of Wealth. Possibly the hardest. Tzeentch or Slaanesh, but neither feels quite right. Probably Slaanesh, with very gaudy trappings, awesome equipment. Possibly a Warpsmith making the coolest toys?
ENVY: Envy seems to involve scheming to me, trying to take that which belongs to others. Screams out Tzeentch. Possibly an Ahriman-esque type figure, envious of the knowledge of the Eldar and trying to steal it? Possibly a dark apostle leading cultists who want to be more than they are and taking advantage of them?
PRIDE: Anyone who takes pride in killing Lucius would turn into him... Generally, the overweening preening of the Emperor's children seems to be a fit. If you don't want special characters, then I reckon a Slaaneshi Chaos Lord with a retinue in a pimped out Land Raider...
WRATH: Khorne. Kinda has to be, I reckon. A Terminator Lord seems the obvious choice. Or a dark apostle inspiring wrath in others.
SLOTH: Sloth is laziness, and I do not think Slaanesh is a lazy deity. Sloth can also link to spiritual laziness, and that to me possibly links to Despair, which is all about Papa Nurgle, baby! Furthermore, physical laziness can lead directly to ill health through heart disease, etc, or laziness and being unclean can lead to infection. Sloth is all about Pappy!
LUST: This can be physical desire, such as sex or food, which screams out Slaanesh. It can also be a lust for power and dominance, which it all about Tzeentch again. This one should be either a Slaaneshi dark apostle, or a Tzeentchian sorceror.
GLUTTONY: Slaanesh - some sort of Bacchanalian figure, perhaps a fat fella too obese to move so he goes on a bike instead?
7 Heavenly Virtues
CHARITY: Got to be Nurgle. Papa Nurgle loves all his chil'en, and wants them to be happy. He sends them wonderful diseases to please them. A sorceror dishing out Nurgley spells at folks?
KINDNESS: A positive outlook and cheerful manner is definitely all about Nurgle. His Carnival of Chaos is a great laugh. Dark apostle leading some cultists.
HUMILITY: This is the polar opposite of most of the Chaos Gods. Slaanesh worshippers think only of themselves, Tzeentchians have very little self-knowledge, Khornates want to dominate. Nurgle's plaguebearers, his tallymen, his hard-working clerks - they are what humble is all about.
PATIENCE: Tzeentch is all about the long game. Got to be a sorceror.
DILIGENCE: I reckon this one is all about someone like Erebus, so a Dark Apostle.
CHASTITY: Either refraining from all worldly pleasures such as sex and alcohol in order to better dedicate one's self to slaughter, or the opposite, someone who has indulged so hedonistically that they now only take pleasures from NOT doing those things any more, and worship Slaanesh by having a nice early night and getting up early to exercise.
ABSTINENCE: Possibly Tzeentch? Deferred gratification? By playing the game well now, win in the end?

Thanks Fifty, your suggestions are very welcome and certainly will be considered.
You have some pretty neat ideas.
Automatically Appended Next Post:
After some research into the differences between Lust and Greed (the overlap between the two is ridiculous outside of Western Culture where we typically label greed as material wants while lust is more sexual/carnal, other cultures have them nigh synonymous, just something I found interesting), I found that the key difference is that Lust is more instinctual, carnal, on par with an addiction blindly guiding you into whatever indulgence while greed is much more in one's head and can be more thought out.
So two people, one who is greedy and one who lusts, can desire the same thing, but chances are they would go about it in different manners with lust plunging straightforward, consequences - to either others or one's self - be damned while greed would also go for it but would possibly be more wary about consequences to themselves and their belongings. Afterall, a greedy individual wouldn't want to have to lose anything in the process of obtaining more.
So with that in mind, I think I'll asign Greed to Tzeentch and Lust to Slaanesh but it's a really narrow line that divides the two.

Gonna have to agree with pretty much everything. but my take
7 Deadly Sins
GREED: Slannesh Probably chaos lord with too much gear and bling. probably in a sick ride too (possibly something like a pirate)
ENVY: Tzeentch dark apostle sounds about right
PRIDE: Emperor's children (yep) Or some sort of Shannesh lord that collects too many trophies (pride in what he does)
WRATH: Khorne. (yep)
SLOTH: Papa Nurgle (probably)
LUST: Slaanesh. Im preferring this one
GLUTTONY: Slaanesh - some sort of Bacchanalian figure, perhaps a fat fella too obese to move so he goes on a bike instead? (yep)
7 Heavenly Virtues
CHARITY: Got to be Nurgle. Papa Nurgle loves all his chil'en, and wants them to be happy. He sends them wonderful diseases to please them. A sorceror dishing out Nurgley spells at folks? (yep)
KINDNESS: A positive outlook and cheerful manner is definitely all about Nurgle. His Carnival of Chaos is a great laugh. Dark apostle leading some cultists. (yep)
HUMILITY: Wouldnt abbadon directly fit this? he doesn't do it for pride or anything he just does it because he thinks its right.
PATIENCE: Tzeentch is all about the long game. Got to be a sorceror. obviously
DILIGENCE: I reckon this one is all about someone like Erebus, so a Dark Apostle. (noclue)
(ehh)
ABSTINENCE: Possibly Tzeentch? Deferred gratification? By playing the game well now, win in the end? (double ehh)

Thanks for the input desubot. Definitely considering envy as a tzeentch apostle and Sloth for Nurgle now with you and Fifty pushing it. Abbadon or Abbadon count as sounds good for Humility.
Think I'm sticking with Tzeentch for Greed though considering what separates it from Lust when you get down to the nitty gritty.

He'll have more bling for sure, that's for certain
He's actually not standing on any spikes, the pins I put in his feet bent a bit so he's just a little popped up from the pins not allowing a snug fit which he had originally.
Gluttony in Full Metal Alchemist is pretty fast moving and was the inspiration for my gluttony. Prevent the tasty treats from getting away and be sure to consume more food, people, xenos... whatever more quickly to try and sate an unsatiable hunger.

For chastity I would say Slaanesh. Just have it as either involuntary chastity where the individual is denied pleasure as a punishment (or Dreadnought internment), or individuals who revel in the denial of pleasure and the sensations experienced because of that denial

So a thought on Abstinence, a psyker who has great potential in the realm of magic BUT sees Khorne as the best/most befitting/etc. god to serve and so only uses his psychic potential in assisting Khorne's will in battle (malefic daemonology, summons daemons of Khorne, only this and nothing more).
Thoughts?
