I like the scene you've set, and the pattern on his helmet, but I'm unsure of the paint job on the body, is it supposed to be camo?

Aslong as the customer likes it. I'm personally not a fan of the super glossy look or the splats of blue. The pose looks poorly executed.

I like the idea, but there are some things that bother me. I'm also not personally a fan of the splatter effect, but our opinions on that don't overly matter if that's what the customer wants. What jumps out at me though is the "bumpy" look of the paint. It looks as if it wasn't thinned before being applied. It's especially prevalent around the shoulders and chest in the first picture. The other thing is the model's seams weren't filled in or smoothed out. They're very visible on the forearms and the back of the calves as shown in pictures 3 and 5 respectively. As a personal project this would be great, but for a commission I feel that it is a fairly low level of work.

Also the left hand pose changed half way through the pictures. Did you just leave them loose so they could be interchanged or did you change your mind about which one you preferred? If so, which did you settle on?

It looks okay, I've seen this here before. As mentioned before, the pose really needs a lot of work. I understand that kit can be a pain but the leg hanging off doesnt look so hot.

Posing this model was no easy task. The hands I left interchangeable so they can be swapped out per the customers liking. I think the photo you mentioned about the grainy look for thinned paint, I think its just the image itself does look a little grainy. Thanks for the feedback.

Is it supposed to look like it was left in the snow and the tau dude just found it? Because that is what it looks like to me, and I think it is awesome.

Thank you for the kind words. I modeled it with many different thoughts in mind. Many people see what you see, some see a little Tau guy about to get snatched up. Some also see that maybe he just decloaked right in front of the Tau guy.
