Im trying to get ideas on what I should paint for fun, my question to everyone here is which model did you enjoy painting the most from start to finish, it can be any model from any company

I really enjoyed painting Tiriel from Hasslefree. Very clean sculpt, almost devoid of detail, which makes a nice change from all these heavily detail-ridden models I have.

Any of the Space Hulk Terminators, or anything from Operation Icestorm. The former are hard to get now, but the latter should be more easily available, and if not, anything from the Infinity range should be a treat to paint up.

Hmm the most fun I've had painting would probably be any Imperial vehicle. I really like the heavy tanky look of the Imperial Guard vehicles in particular, and it's a lot of fun to rough them up once you've finished the important parts.

Ork dread hands down is the best model I have painted. Cool to put together too.

Back when it came out my favorite model to paint just for fun was the plastic Baneblade. Now I have a Guard army and my current for fun model is an oop FW Baneblade I got from a friend. Also for a fun side project I got some Dust Warfare models to paint.

Most of the stuff I find fun to paint have nothing to do with what my main project is at the moment.

I loved doing the CSM lord from Dark Vengeance. I didn't convert him yet, but I did really well on the dirt and the lighting effects on the back oh his cape.

I found the revenant titan the model I was most interested in painting. Well most excited to paint.

Mostly because of how big it was, but there was more room to get creative with the base for a change for me. So it sort of became like a bit of a diorama. However the best type of model to paint is always the centerpiece for the army in my opinion. Like, putting that extra effort into painting a character so they stand out more makes it more enjoyable than rank and file.

But for general troops and such the wraithguard were nice to paint.
