I actually try to stay away from the dark green as much as I can. Like an Ork player, I get sick of painting green and I like for certain models to stand out a bit. The Librarian of course is from DV. The Dread came from Forgeworld and Lord was it a pain to flash and model. I magnatized the arms so they can move and swap out weapons. I love the base on the Venerable Dreadnought!

Thanks Panther, it's from secret weapons. The building theme is that all my DW knights and the dread have barb wire blown and wrapped at the base. Once the knights are done I am going to post a pic on how they all look together.

Dreadnought looks great - I've always thought DA dreadnoughts should be bone colour to indicate that they are honoured veterans same as Deathwing. Plus, as you note it breaks up the tide of dark green in an army. Nice work.

Yea I got so sick of painting green. And of course even to highlight them, if you weren't careful they would look like salamanders. So you couldn't just throw it on.

I don't think I would do another Forgeworld Dread. WAY to much work to flash and clean. I broke one of the small skulls off to a piece with is why its not on the model.

That said, they are great models put together.
