Here is a knight titan I put togeter with some conversion ideas of mine.
Back story:
The pilot of the knight is a lady from a most prominent noble house.
However, she had aquired a most dekadent taste in weird and sadistic rituals with the young ladies sent to her court by families meaning to andvance in favour and familiarity.
Once the lesser nobles of the realm learned of her wicked ways, they rebeled and put the Lady in chains to face a dire judgement.
Being one of the most respected noble families, a mere death sentence was not an option.
Instead, they chained her shut inside her favourite Knight Titan, making it a mechanical tomb, and banishing her to wander the last of her days on a desolate moon covered with little more than oozing swamps and fog.
Driven mad with hunger and isolation her wretched soul would still not give up the spark, changing slowly into a much more terrible entity.
As dark and ruinous powers hidden on the moon came to feast upon her soul and trusted engine both, a uniqe fiend was born; part warped machine, and part poltergeistic ghost where once stood a noble knight of the imperium.
These days, "The Lady" stalk the battlefields, willing to fight for anyone that promise to unlock the horrid locks of her tomb. However, no one has yet been foolish enough to actualy let her loose.

Comments and reflections welcome and appreciated.

You can just about see the lost soul behind the bars...

Im not sure this pic belongs here, might ruin the effect, but here goes, a better pic of the ghost.

Loving the tentacle beard. That really sells it.

That is one awesome knight. I like the conversions, and the paint job is pretty nice. The blending on the shoulder pads is especially eye-catching.
The "imprisoned" lady is a very nice touch and ties the narrative together.

One criticism:
I don't care for the posing of the legs and how they interact with the base; it looks really awkward. It is entirely possible to "pose" the knights more naturally by breaking legs and doing a little more conversion work.

Thanks for the nice comments!
Im quite pleased with the concept and general look/profile. But as some of you see,
Im not great at fixing the fine details yet, and a close inspection show a lot of flaws.

As for the posing and base, the legs are not permanently fixed to the base (not glued in place yet), and that may contribute to a weird/awkvard pose.
Also, the upper body can be turned and tilted, and arms can be posed.
However, I kind of like the more dynamic pose. I got an other, more conventional Knight standing straight, doing the "cowboy shoot out". The two of them look like two different kits right now.

Thanks! The "head" was my original idea that made me decide to do this project. The tentacles are basicly just the tentacle arm from the helbrute kit, put together with one of the crows/halos from the same kit, and some minor tentacles in between.

I really like the use of the mortis engine parts, and the lasher tendrils for the tentacles. Great conversion!

I like the idea of a more subtly possessed titan. Also has about the right amount of detail and conversion in it - not too little, not too much. Good job.

Ok, so I was looking at this and saw a well painted knight with a cool story. Then I saw the top hatch and the ghost inside. Brilliant! This is my new favorite knight, its incredible how much that little ghost adds to the model and story. Well done sir.

Great conversion and fluff. At first I thought the paint looked a little flat, particularly the green, but some of the closer pics seem to show a nice variation in the colours used. Nice work!
