Micron pens. Eckersleys have 0.03mm pens and they are pretty good.

no worries mate, just FYI, you can also buy the 0.3mm pens and put their spare 0.03mm tips in them

I did that with red and blue pens for make letters in books/honours.

Be prepared though, they are quite weak and will need a ton of coats or brown+black as a shadow. Also, brown is more realistic than black on a banner
