Hey Dakka,

To give you a little bit of background, I used to be into wargaming with my brother about a year ago and then took the year away from it for college. Sold my Tau, sold my Salamanders and packed my Skaven deep into the realm of chaos. Well about a month ago, one of my good friends who picked up the hobby fairly recently got me into it again. I retrieved my Skaven and made a friendly trade with a friendly gent off of Dakka. Now in my possession is a fairly large space marines army which comes pre-assembled and primed/painted. So my grand task set before me by the Emperor himself is to whip this lacklustre band of plastic into a disciplined force to be reckoned with, and so shall it be done. I will turn this army into a band of Black Templars and Dark Angels. I have not read to deep into the fluff, but so far I don't see a reason these two cant be battle brothers.

Update time , had a bit of time over the last week or so. So I did a little bit of kitbashing (very minor) and tried to spice up some of my guys. I also got around to picking the paint off my metal guys, and unfortunately I think this is as clean as I'll get them.

So without further adieu, here they are:

I will turn this army into a band of Black Templars and Dark Angels. I have not read to deep into the fluff, but so far I don't see a reason these two cant be battle brothers.

they are your models, so do what you want with them, that being said, in regards to fluff, the Dark Angels and Black Templars are not on the best of turns. the dark angels destroyed a black templar battle barge in order to prevent the BT from finding out about the fallen angels. currently the Black Templars don't know what happened to their ship, but they have their suspicions.
