When painting my Khorne Berzerkers after adding a layer of Evil Sunz over the base red (forget its name) I noticed small bumps where the paint was and also the paint looked murky? Like kinda splotchy. These were only visible from REALLY up close, but I was just wondering the reasoning thanks!

Ok I have pictures.... Uhh you can barely see it though because of the TERRIBLE image, but you can barely make it out on the top of the leg right side

Hmmmm how did you prime the model?

It seems to be primer dust possibly adding lumps into your layers

Otherwise it could be that your paints have small lumps and partials in it.

also mold line pls.

So what do you suggest?

Well first if it was the primer. shake it well and do it where its not tooo humid. (not inside the house)

Thin your paints. try not to use directly out o da pot but on a little pallet. add a tiny drop of water till the paint flows nicer. this takes practice. but do that and paint in multiple players than one glob.

it should stop uneven textures.

for this one you might be better of striping. which there are plenty of guides ( i prefer purple power)

Could be the primer came out thick, or you painted the second layer while the first was still drying and it pulled up the drying paint into little lumps.

Or like Desubot said, your paints could be drying up and getting thick.

You can get rid of them by sanding them off or using a hobby knife to cut them off, but both options require delicate work as you don't want to gouge your models.

Ive had the same problem, its the paint. Shake them reallybwell and thing down well too. Then leave ample time to dry between layers. Reds, yellows and whites are a complete pain to paint.
I generally let my layers dry for 5-10 mins. Except for those colours mentioned, they get 10 minimum. Otherwise theyvpeel and clump and do all sorts of naaaasty stuff.
